Full disclosure: So I guess you can say I’m an internet researcher. Which means that the information I have is surely half asses at best.. you have been warned lol..

As obvious as it sounds men and women respond differently sexual images. It seems that men actually look at faces significantly more than women do. I didn’t find any commonality in what women looked at. It’s my belief from previous research that men are looking for symmetry first. If I remember correctly it’s a survival gene type thing that we have little control over. Sorta like the fight or flight response we encounter when something frightens us like hearing a gun shot, a car backfires or someone asking us marry them lol.

And when it comes genitalia close ups... both quickly flipped the next image. I would guess that these images though enjoyable... are not the ones that intuitively tell us what we need know about a person..
Men also had more activity in the amygdala portion of the brain than women did. (The amygdala portion of the brain is primarily responsible for processing memory, decision making and emotional responses including fear, anxiety and aggression according Wikipedia.)

Apparently culture has something do with it as well. So I would love hear from our international friends as well.

So what say you? Men... what do you look at first? Her face? Is that the fist gut response or second?
Women... Did the dick pic help or not? Or is the good fashion face pic what gets you interested?

What pick and what leave behind?

The question at the moment is... What’s picky and what isn’t. As far a GF, FWB goes the desire has always been the same. Not heavier or taller than myself, and a personality that can challenge me. Is that picky? I know a lot about a lot. However I know all of none. I tend push myself and those around me “do better”-PREZI. So is searching for someone that desires better for those around them and themselves considered picky? The idea of better isn’t the same for everyone.. true. The ability achieve isn’t the same for everyone as well.

So I ask you. What is picky you? At what point do you start putting yourself on a pedestal that no one can reach. Should you dumb down for someone... just have someone?
