🥂 "T" Day
For me, this is a day to be thankful for family , friends and so much more! The roots are so many years ago, nestled in the customs of our new location and of course traditions of "home". Amongst other things, it is the start of the year end holidays. A bit of frivolity and reverence for what we have. I understand that folks from other places do not celebrate as we do, perhaps a different date? Do you have any favorite foods for the day? Are you the cook, helper or annoying troll? My favorite is of course the turkey! Also please remember or service members serving away from home.

 Ham going into slow-cooker at 8 or 9 am Daughter & Grand-kids coming around 1:00 too prep & cook the rest of dinner Will be eating around 4:00 if Her Hubby gets home from Work depending on how busy the restaurant is that He is a Cook at !!

 This is a weird Thanksgiving for all of us. Due to out spike in New England of the virus most of us cancelled any plans in favor of trying to curb the spread. BUT I am still cooking a stuffed fresh turkey- albeit 9 pounds versus 20 and I ma making whole berry cranberry and Jerusalem yams. Left over turkey will be made into pie filling and frozen and the cranberry can turn into jam. I cant imagine my home not smelling like Thanksgiving
