At least I think it must for many of us. There can be so much frustration. And I think that masturbation is at least a partial necessity .  Medical & Clinical findings suggest that ejaculation frequency either by intercourse or masturbation is related to a decreased risk of BPH/LUTS (benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)/lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS)). As I was told by my Urologist; Masturbating or intercourse 2 or 3 times a week has been effective in keeping Prostate size in a reduced state of size. After numerous testings over the course of 2 years my enlarged prostate was deemed as non-cancerous. I have also gotten to the point that Urologist has taken me OFF of medication after about 6 years and only does a twice yearly prostate exam . With COVID & Horny-ness, I was up to 4 or 5 times a week but have gotten that back down to 2 or 3 times a week .🤠
