WTF???

Am I the only one who gets stood up more than half of the time? Can anyone explain this? Why would you set up a meet and just not show up? It's so irritating.

 I just got stood up today, when I had taken a half day at work so that we could have time together, no call no nothing with someone who I had met many times before.

It is not just you, but seemingly everyone, it might be that because people only know you from online they feel like that you can be just blown off with out consequences. But the no call no show is really rude.
Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

that sucks...especially if you've met...i think folks just don't have the nerve to face you and say "No Thanks". I always try to leave on amiable terms...but their way is SOOOO much easier...

 You having a committed boyfriend might have something to do with it.
I know being a guy that would really suck.I couldn't do it to someone else.
It's impossible enough to keep someone's attention for more than 5 minutes
so maybe they're treating you like the way they would feel.

 i had only one meet in several years from this site, have always read about the no shows, common courtesy is to show up and early is better than late or not showing up at all

 I'm so sorry that happened to you, though I really don't understand why it did. The guy (or guys if it's happened more than once, must be real flakes to pass you up. In reading your profile, we have a lot interests in common and you are very attractive, so I'd be very curious and interested in getting to know more about you and that can only come from meeting and talking face to face.
And as far as the previous statement: "You having a committed boyfriend might have something to do with it." goes, for me, I have a different take, as that'd even pique my interest and draw me in to wanting to meet you even more.

 I had this happen to me a few times in the beginning. It is sofa king rude, I will never ever do that unless my car breaks down or I am in an accident.

 People who organize parties say that they invite twice as many as they really want to have, because 50% won't show up.

The only time I ever stood anybody up I couldn't find her place. She said she could see me driving back and forth looking. We connected on the second try, and I wish I could find her again!

That is the advantage of clubs and parties, you meet your date there when you meet them!
