 Welcome! The answer is that question is always complicated. A shorter answer would include, as other posters alluded to, numerous fake profiles, those that want to wank-off online, and are lacking in the people skills department. That leaves the rest of us that are often separated by many miles (IE you are in Denver, I am in Minneapolis). My advice? Stay real, be patient, stick to your guns, and you will eventually find those you connect with.

 It's people that you can see milling about,driving their cars,hanging out in the park,at the movies,walking their dogs ,interacting with others and reaL and in the flesh.Their the ones that don't know you're here or what you want.So naturally they won't be just saying what they think you want to hear because they don't know your intentions.Now those are real deal!!!

 Well, probably because they are incapable of being honest with themselves much less anyone else and so stuck on their dicks and their own desire for instant gratification they haven't progressed past the age of 12 emotionally. Maybe they use the site to watch everyone else? Maybe they are lazy and can't put in a little effort to get to know you?

I like my first idea the best. Regardless, those guys give the rest of us men who are sincerely hoping and working for a real connection a terrible name and and a huge barrier to overcome.
