Well it hurts. Seems every joint in my body is feeling the pain of yesterdays marathon snow shoveling. I went to bed early, even though SyFi was running a marathon of a good show last night ( Resident Alien ) I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Once in bed, relaxed and about to drift off to sleep the leg decides to cramp up big time. I crawled out of bed before it had a chance to really tighten up noting that when I did get up I couldn't straighten it at all. Just what I needed to end my day. Not! The knot in my leg finally subsided and I was able to get back to bed and fall asleep.

I've not looked outside today yet. I don't know if I have the heart to look. Going through another day like yesterday is not something I want to do in the slightest. Hopefully the salt put down on the steps after I left work yesterday is doing it's job and keeping them clear of any snow. ( crossing my fingers here ) I have no idea if my jacket has dried off yet or not. When I got home for lunch ( a half hour later than usual ) the thing was frozen stiff, covered in snow that was blowing about to beat the band. Funny I wasn't really cold though. Wet yes, cold no. I had to change out of the pants I had on, and I don't think my socks will dry out unless I toss them into a dryer to do so. Not that I'd put them back on with out washing them first. Thankfully the long undies I had on didn't get that wet and I could keep them on. With dry ( or somewhat dry ) clothing back on I headed back in for another round of shoveling. The shoveling was easier after lunch, just a few inches had built up on the steps. Though with people moving about coming outside to walk their dogs, taking their minions out to play in the newly fallen snow ( or trying in vein to clear the snow around their cars and move them ) The lighter snow got packed down and was harder to get up. Okay people...what part of snow day don't you get? When it's that bad out... stay inside. The stuff will still be there when we've safely removed the snow and you can get out without slipping and falling down on you way out the door. Silly sods.

I have half a mind to call off for today. Lord knows I could use the rest so I can recover. But I won't. I couldn't do that to the other guys working here. Leave them in the lurch like that. I'm sure the laundry room and gym are a total mess, I never had the chance to clean them yesterday. As sure as God made little green apples I just know that someone thought the day when everybody should stay at home was the perfect time to do their laundry. One good thing, the PM never made it to work and the office was closed, so I won't have to clean in there much. Just mop up the puddles where my boss went in to check his mail, and clean up after the painter who liked to eat his lunch in there. So, thinking about it.. I'm sure that place will need a good cleaning as well. Ugh!

Oh well, time to hop into my shower.. think I'll leave a bit early today so I'll have time to pop over to the mini mart and pick up some smokes.

It was easier this morning. The salt did it's job and the only shoveling I did was in front of the office, and laundry room door. I came I this morning and someone had done their laundry and left the door standing wide open all night long. Idiots. Been finishing up that unit I was painting last week, now putting it back together after the painting is done...so...yeah... an easy day. Have a good one Queen.

I can just feel your Pain 😬 Mine usually hit in the calf of my leg to the point that it also cramps and curls my toes and I can not even stand up on my foot until it passes enough for toes to uncurl 😬 We're supposed to get white stuff on Wednesday but nothing yet as too how much 🙁🤠

The cramps always hit me just above the knee, and always on the left leg. Any higher and it'd be a real pain in my ass. Have a good one Cowboy.
