Okay let me try and explain it to you one more time. Increased profitability leads to increased taxation and wages. Which allows for increased consumer and government spending. Which in turn increases profitability for everyone. It keeps money flowing into our economy for everyone. Right now the government and corporations don't want to spend their profits on wage or tax increases. They want to hoard their money for themselves. Trump had a better plan to come out of this economic down-turn. Also , people hearing , "Tax the rich", tend to forget how much the "Rich" donate to the people [community and world wide] beyond taxes. A "Profit" cannot be made with massive inflation and high taxes.

However, when you have a federal government trying to reset the country's economic system toward communism via socialism, and over taxing these private corporations, on top of that mandating these corporations [and small businesses] increase pay to the workers when our economy has been shut down for over a year, the small business and corporation eventually only breaks even, or goes bust. Then who suffers the most? The workers [the middle class] takes the hit, even though they are promised not to see tax increases. So what? With inflation, and regular taxing on an income that has a weaker dollar value, eventually makes the middle class poor. No money. [citizens] Dependent on the government. Raising taxes while everyone is trying to get on their feet again after being locked down for a virus, that is 98% survivable is in insane. Spending trillions upon trillions [and most of it went to other countries] of our paid tax money is stupid. When you're barely keeping your head above financial water , you don't spend more. Bidens plan wipes out the middle class. Who do you think makes the rich wealthy? The middle class American. Those with money, pay those who work for money. Over tax those with money, and that takes away money from those middle class people working for money. The dollar gets weaker with inflation, even though you might be getting $15/hour from $8/hour, you are really now only making $6/hour [in buying power]. President Trump had a much better plan. People would have been much better with Trump has the second term President.

I am not an economist. So I don't know much about supply and demand. And inflation. But it makes sense to me that during the pandemic which occurred during Trump's Administration people traveled less. There was a drop in demand for gas. Therefore a buildup of supply. And to get rid of Supply they have to drop prices. Now that more people are traveling there is a higher demand. So prices for gas are increasing. Trump had the United States independent of foreign oil, this is why gas prices were low. Biden killed the US/Canadian [xl] pipe line, putting 14000 American workers out of a job, and 1000 Canadian workers out of a job in Canada. Now gas prices are soaring across the states. In California, a gallon of gas is about $8. If there was a build up of gas supply, there would not be an increase in price. Shutting everything down for a virus that is 98% survivable was not required.
