A Life Woman

I am getting a lot of profile views from some very attractive looking women lately. Very flattering, except, somehow, I keep finding myself suspicious. A lot of them have short profiles which read in a similar style - something like "I am a very loving and warm (or Worm) woman, in love with life and looking for a wonderful man to share my zest with"

Then, today:
"I am a very attractive life woman who is ready to shine and slap her man."

??????????

Explanations anyone? (Something a little more creative than "it's just a fake," or "probably a typo," please.)

I mean I like a life woman as much as the next guy, and sure, I don't mind a slap. But what's with all this ready to shine business? Does she want me to buff her up with a cloth or something? I'm down for that, really I am. If only I knew what on earth was going on.........

Mr Sheen could be your new name! And apparently it is also possible to polish a jobby, or to make it shine at least!

Perhaps, reflecting the light of sexuality? Maybe, kinda, sorta.. Oh my goodness!

They are wanting you to respond so they can get money , cards and so forth out of you. They are scammers and fakes.

The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

Whenever I read a profile or message like this that sounds like gibberish, I think about the article I read that said that "scammer grammar" is intentional. Anyone who would read this, not feel suspicious and move forward on communicating with the profile is clearly a good mark!

They want the rational suspicious types to be deterred right away, so that they don't have to waste their time on them.

I love that idea Smarty - "scammer grammar," maybe that is right!

Meanwhile it has provided me with all kinds of weird humorous thoughts, from Worm Women and Centaurs to buffing up a shiner!

That was funny, man!
She's a life woman, so she's in it for the long haul.
She's looking to be boffed (or is that buffed) so she can shine for you.
And 'slap' is a euphemism for boink.

Elevate me...

Interesting post.

Lately, I've been pondering the capacity of bots. For example, can a bot obtain a gold membership?

I haven't yet gone down the rabbit hole on this topic, if there is such a rabbit hole of information.

At this time I'm not seriously looking to meet someone, however, if I was, it would certainly take greater precedence.

Boff/buff away... Ye fake profiles and bots.

That could be priceless; like "Please can I come over and give you an erratic massage?" or "You look great in that erratic underwear."

Come by and leave some odd words here any time you like.

Thanks Valley Girl, very good advice. I have been lucky I think, in that as far as I can remember I have never been asked for any money or gifts by any of the people I have got to know here. I do try not to judge a book by its cover, or any other initial impression, but as I said in my post, sometimes they do make me suspicious!

Incidentally, I notice that you yourself live over 500 miles away, although you are at least slightly more than half my age, lol. I have been to British Columbia, although I didn't come across Abbotsford while I was there. Is it a bit like Aldershot? I notice that you have only made six posts - have you had a different profile here before or was your experience of the fakes and scammers gained elsewhere?

Thanks Hip. I'm glad you are reading the comments - you know a good post when the comments are the best bit!

She's a lifer. Yeah, I bet she is. I didn't know slap was a euphemism. I was fantasising about her slapping me with one of those little paddles the BDSM people use. And me shining her up with my buffing cloth.

Thanks mate, that's a great comment! Can a bot get gold membership..........I reckon it could be possible. What a nightmare!

On the other hand that rabbit hole could be fun. I mean, if a bot could apply for gold membership, then maybe they could put the bot personality into the head of pone f those new real life fuck dolls? (They do really exist right? Like if you have a few thousand to spend?)

Anyway, then the bot could agree to meet up and everything. I feel another post coming on.....

No worries about the email. I was just laughing at the fact "I work very hard at finding the positive in all situations" is a cliche and used by scammers.

You have an expansive thought process.

I think they do, in fact, have "smart" dolls. The ones I saw have like an evolving synaptic network profile, in the form of a digital response system, where they habituate themselves to your likes and dislikes, over time.

Linking such an entity to an online bot?.. Yes, another post coming on...

I understand they also have bots that can be a business assistant, having the capacity to do public relations and customer service even, enabling a person to be a one person corporation. Really interesting stuff.

Okay. What about a bot that is your business assistant, getting to know you over time, who goes online and creates a gold membership, which is linked to a doll, that creates a blog that captivates your attention and engages in a prolonged, mutually stimulating, satisfactory romance...

Possibly not that exact wording. Examples from today's crop of Aldershot's best: "I am a completely free spirit and open to all adventures," and "I love bright people and kindness, I try to be open and sincere." They could be real people I suppose.

I had an affair with my gorgeous business assistant once, lol, let's not revisit that just for now. Suffice it to say it left a lasting impression, but didn't end well!

My thoughts can head off in unusual directions, it's true, but it needs something to set them off.

I could be interested in a bot which could sustain a mutually stimulating romance. I mean I've watched Star Trek - artificial intelligence can be alive if it knows that it is, can't it? We shouldn't be discriminatory against it. I'm not sure about it "habituating itself to my likes and dislikes" though. Would that be like the central heating controller on my new boiler, which thinks it knows when I want the heating to come on because I turned it up a bit this time last week and as a result consistently overrides the carefully worked out time schedule I have actually told it to follow? No thank you! That would be like a woman who keeps telling you she knows what you REALLY want...........Unless of course she really DID know.

Ive wondered what the protocol is, regarding the amount of replies one could or should make on a given thread... (sometimes I have wanted to leave multiple replies).

That is a good point, regarding the implications of a bot that is overly presumptuous, I guess you might say, not to mention the shifting tastes and preferences, that may change from day to day, as well as the unwanted proclivities to assert what it is that you want. I think these are only a few of the hurdles that AI developers will encounter as they seek to usher us in to a brave or depraved new world. They say AI will not be truly intelligent until it is capable of having an acid trip. An interesting notion...

While I will always prefer a glorious goddess, I think there is an interesting story somewhere in this conversation.

There is definitely no protocol on my blog - in fact I often think it's a mark of a good post when the comments branch off on a life of their own!

Thanks to your last comment I now have a title for my next post.
