One of the worst things about my broken wrist is that I am unable to masturbate. When your wife hates sex and you can not take care of yourself it really sucks.

Stroke and Broken Arm

While at work May 31 I began feeling bad. I drove home and the next morning I fell down and broke my arm. It turns out I had a stroke. I spent a week in the hospital then 2 weeks in rehab. I finally got to come home this week.
They tell me I will make a full recovery over the next 6 months. I realize how blessed I am watching all the people at rehab. I appreciate all the hard work all the nurses and therapists do every day to help and take care of people like me. I will never be able to pay them back.

In the past year I have had 3 lovers. I haven't had sex with any of them for over 5 months.

If you have read my blog you know I am a huge sports fan. I've been a little sad since the Stars lost and with the Mavs sucking lately it has been a slow time the past few years.
While baseball is my favorite sport, it normally takes a couple of months for me to get fully vested in the season but Odor fixed that this past Sunday. While it may not have been the best and smartest thing to do, that punch to Bautista was incredible to watch. No matter what anybody says you can't sucker punch someone looking straight at you getting ready to throw his own punch. Bautista is very lucky that Beltre pulled him away or it would have been way worse for him.
Watching this first half of OKC and Golden State has been very entertaining. Curry and the Warriors are the only team that can make basketball almost as good as Stanley Cup playoff hockey.

I've been really bad for the last month with my diet and exercise. After a wonderful 6 months I have fallen off and gained a little bit of weight back.
I'm starting to get back on the exercise bandwagon but really need to get my desire back.
Once school is out I should be able to start swimming again and with my biking and what I hope will be my running regimen that I hope to begin this weekend I think I will be back to where I want to be.

213 days til I finally get a vacation again. Last vacation was in 2013. It seems the only vacations I take are cruises.
I have to admit I love to go on cruises. I think they are the best value you can get. The one in December will be my 6th all on Carnival and all but one out of Galveston. They always seem to end up with a bunch of my family going with us and this year is no different.
Since I am a part-time travel agent I was able to book this and save us some money by rolling my commission back to my family and my timing was pretty good as the cruise has gone up $20 to $50 per person since I blocked off my rooms.
It is gonna be a long 213 days

I have never worked at a place more dysfunctional than where I work now and I have worked at some fucked up places.
Every week something changes. I have been here 18 months and we are on CEO number 3. This one appears to be decent but we will see. Even if she is I don't trust the General Partner not to fuck things up.
I signed on to this place because it was exciting and was something I wanted to do. I took a fairly significant pay cut on the promise of equity. Needless to say nothing I was promised has come to pass.
There are a bunch of potentially exciting things growing here but I just don't think I can keep waiting on things to change.

Stanley Cup Playoffs

There is no better time in sports than the NHL playoffs. The games are so intense and the action is non stop.
When your team is involved it is nail biting time. Now waiting on Game 7 tomorrow night is seeming to take forever. Then there is the fact that I'm extremely superstitious when it comes to my teams and I'm trying to decide how I'm gonna follow the game tomorrow.
I watched a grand total of 1 game minute of action in Game 1 and that was the time when the Blues scored their only goal. I missed the entire 1st period of game 6 and the Stars led 3-0 after 1 and then had to hold on for a 3-2 win. So the question is do I watch the game of just listen on the radio and do something else.
Tough decisions!

My sex life at home is still pretty much non-existent. Even when it isn't it still is just a small step up from masturbation. She still refuses to do anything outside of what she considers basic sex and never lets me go down on her. When I try to extend things she complains that I'm taking too long.
Several months back that wasn't a problem. But now I'm too broke to have an affair. I can't afford a hotel room so even if either of the women I was with last year wanted to get back together it would be impossible.

This weekend was tough one exercise wise for me.
After a week of no exercise thanks to a knee injury I picked up Saturday with my longest run and I fell well short of my goal.
Sunday I actually rode my bike instead of the one at the gym and the first 4 miles was almost all uphill against the wind. and then the final .25 mile was the longest stretch of uphill riding altogether. I'm hoping my struggles riding is just my bike not being setup properly and new tires and adjustments will make it much easier next weekend.
Went to see Deadpool Saturday and thought it was fucking awesome. Was kinda shocked when they showed a pegging scene at the beginning. Very violent but was also very funny. Highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.
I miss having sex regularly now that I know longer have a mistress. I guess I need to do something about that.
