FROM NOT COOL TO COOL

My first nickname at school was Blubber-Belly. I was ten years old and I was not fat, honest! But can be cruel in their nicknames. My nickname soon got changed to Dubber-Delly, slightly better but still not cool.

A few years into school, now in my teens, my nickname got shortened even more and became Dub. This nickname was much better and became cool when dub reggae was popular in the late 1970s. I have to admit that I liked my nickname then.

My younger brother was called Little Dub, even though he was bigger than me!

What was your nickname at school?
Do you have any nicknames now?

Nearly everyone at school, both pupils and teachers, had nicknames. Other pupils were called Baa-Baa, Big Bertha, Griffo, Herbert, Sheister, Ski, Tuppenny Twat, Twanger and Wally.

You can probably guess why Big Bertha got his nickname. Tuppenny Twat was a nod to The Six Million Dollar Man that was very popular at the time. Sheister got his nickname because a pair of his pooed-in pants was found in the box of his Monopoly game. My best friend was nicknamed Ski because one of his legs was much shorter than the other so probably would not be able to ski that well! School, especially in the dorms, was sometimes a brutal world.

Some of the nicknames of my teachers were Bengo, Colonel, Dan, Din, Flash, Jesse, Master Bates, Motty and One-Ball. He was called One-Ball because he foolishly told us that he only had one testicle! Dan, the physics teacher, even had his own song that we would sing in his class - Dan, Dan the physics man; his dick is big and hairy; and he dances like a fairy! As I write, I am still embarrassed by all this.

Since nicknamed Dub, I’ve never had a nickname that stuck, though one of my friends kept calling me Shagger Admittedly, I did shag her twice but that never warranted her nickname for me!

It is so not cool to be made fun of when in school, I know only to well what it feels like. I am sorry to hear you were teased at school and made fun of..

What was your nickname at school? I can't say because it would give away my real name here, lets just say I got teased my whole life and I hated school.

Do you have any nicknames now? No I don't have any nick names now thank god. But I do remember one that I can share, I was always called Bubble Butt by my step dad. He was a horrible man, but I did have a sexy bubble butt..

I hope you enjoy a terrific Tuesday..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I think nick names are cool. I have huge eyes and my nick name was E.T., I was ok with it.

I have way too many nicknames to mention and they all stuck. Juicy Joy or Juicy is one given to me when I was 16 by an old boyfriend from high school.. Yes it was for the reason most would hazard a guess at. 40 years later, my friends still call me Juicy when we are all out together. My two books I published under J.J. both stand for my initials, but also due to my nickname Juicy Joy...

J.J. is another nickname, Spark Plug, Red, Freckles, Jugs, Shorty, Elf, Half Pint and one here by a long term follower and reader on my blogs who initially called me Strawberry Shortcake. Now it is just Shortcake. One more by another fellow blogger from this site who calls me Diamond Girl and has since I started to blog..

My nickname would give away my real name too. Thankfully, it wasn't used much, only by mean kids who wanted to tease.

What was your nickname at school? - My nickname in Grammar school was 'Chatty' (probably because I was too quiet?). This was given to me by one of the teachers...who we called 'Slasher!'

I didn't have a nickname in school. A family member tagged me as motor mouth when I was little and looking for attention. I was mortified. And a very lonely child

In school it was Chipper, celebrating my fun in the woods. Now none, the military time seems to have killed that idea

Kids can be cruel at school but I guess it toughens us up, though I much prefer everyone was kinder to each other.

I'm pleased you were okay with your ET nickname. ET was adored the world over!

That's quite a collection of nicknames you've amassed!

I always wonder whether the mean kids ever got their just karma after they left school!

My mind is boggling what the teacher did to get the Slasher nickname.

You were lucky not to get a nickname at school as most school nicknames aren't nice!

The only kids not to have nicknames at my school were super-coo or hard as nails, or had an unusual first name.

Chipper isn't a bad nickname as nicknames go.
