A meet and greet in Ridgecrest
It has been suggested to me and asked if I thought a meet and greet in Ridgecrest would be possible. I would like to get some feedback from the group for some thoughts on this. We do have a few bars that might be fun. The places are definitely big enough for any amount of people, and the people here are for the most part quite nice. A big plus for the ladies is the fact that we have a naval base at our doorstep, so the likelihood of meeting a cute and handsome military man is high. And if I know some of the ladies in this group, you will more than likely find a few very good looking ladies here to recruit into the group. So, what are the thoughts and suggestions on this? I will of course make my house available to whomever would need a place to crash. I believe a carpool situation has also been suggested. I am hoping this stays at the top so that everyone may see it.

Sounds great. Change of scenery is always good. I like the carpooling idea. I have a sports car that's great on gas. Count me in.

OK, we have set a date to go to Ridgecrest for a Meet & Greet. We will be headed over there the 9th of May. As the date draws closer Guy will give me the name and location of the Club that we will be going to. I will post it and the directions. Hope that we get some of our regulars from here and some new people in that area to come out and join us for a night of fun.

We do have a few hotel/motels here. Everything from a Motel 6 to a Marriott. My house is available if anybody feels the need to crash. I plan to invite you all over after the bar winds down anyway. I have a three bedroom place, with a single bed and a full size bed in the spare rooms, and a queen sized bed in my master room if anybody would care to snuggle and see what comes up.  I will also have some blow up mattresses for those who want to sleep before driving, or if you have some drinks and dont want to drive. My place is clean and comfortable with 2 bathrooms. Maybe I should just plan a party for that night? We will see.

Actually remember back to the Johnson Administration, but it makes me sound older than I am. LOL. My Mom was a pinko bleeding heart liberal and a school teacher. Had me reading the newspaper and liberal magazines when everybody else was reading the fun stuff on the back of a cereal box.
