I'm extremely happy with life at the moment, just looking to add that extra little bit of sparkle. I'm not 100% sure what I'm actually looking for here. I'm hoping that when I find her I'll know. So casual or serious, fling or life-changing event, I would rather not rule anything in and not rule anything out. Let's just see what happens and where things take us? I'm lucky enough not to be tied to a desk all day every day or a 9-5 job. Well mostly not.. I'm flexible enough for a cheeky chat most times of the day or night. I'm pretty intellectual (that's pretty intellectual, not a pretty intellectual) and good at conversations. I like to hope I have a good sense of humour. I did once make a girl laugh, although that was back in 1984, and thinking back it was exactly at the point I took my trousers off. Hmmmm. Moving swiftly on. I swim and cycle a few times a week to keep fit, love going to the movies, adore the theatre and always want to have two or three tickets to something or other stuck to the fridge. I have a few hidden depths too; but let's leave those until we get talking hey? If the female experience on this site is anything like the male experience I might well be that breath of fresh air that you are looking for. Why? Because I'm real. And I'm honest. I don't try to be someone that I'm not; mostly because I don't have to. I really like the per I am. And if you want the summary of who that is, it's someone who puts more good into the world than they take out of it. I don't make any promises. But at the same time I don't bring any expectations either. I'm just a normal (if there is such a thing) guy enjoying the journey through life and looking for someone to share it with. I like to hope that I'm different from the pack so if you're bored with the same-old same-old, drop me a reply and let's chat.

My Ideal Person Is there such a concept as an ideal person? I'm not convinced. But if I close my eyes and daydream for a minute, maybe I can conjur up some random thoughts ...

She'll love life and she'll smile a lot. (And yes, she's allowed to cringe and roll her eyes at my terrible jokes ... did I tell you the one about ...)

She'll like the sunshine, beaches at midnight and being out in the snow under clear winter blue skies. She'll love the adventure of unplanned road trips and finding gorgeous rooms in boutique hotels.

She'll be a sucker for people watching with a cup of tea or coffee, and she won't be afraid to eat cake. And every so often she'll pause with me to watch the world go by and marvel at what a beautiful world it is.

And if she's someone who puts something back into the world at the same time, and sends a friend a smile for no reason than because she can ...

... perhaps that's my idea person?
