I am the guy that likes to say "Hi". I don't know another appropriate way to initiate conversation on here. I do read entire profiles on before I contact you to make sure that I am not wasting my time or yours. The rea I say "Hi" or "Hey" is because from past communication attempts. Most people on here do write "please don't contact me with a hi, hello, or hey please have more substance to your opening conversation with me..." Let me tell you that I have written some very long and substantial opening messages with no reply whatsoever. I don't even know if you received the message in the first place let alone are even a real profile to begin with. The alternative to "hi" is "want to meet up" and that is also not the most accepted opening line on here either. So what is a guy to do? I think saying hello and creating a conversation is friendly so that is why I say "Hi" on my first message. It shows I am polite, know how to communicate properly, and am interested in you as a per as opposed to an object for me to use. I am on here looking for fun, yes I am SINGLE.
