Desperate to get in to see the spectacle and rumoured performance by a famous rapper. Years previously he had installed rollercoasters, welcomed Snoop Dogg to the stage and even had Courtney Love as one of his performers. This time at Plein, there were enough fire marshals attempting (and failing) at camouflage in their high viz jackets to know that, of course, theatre and circus like shenanigans would play a part in the spectacle (and probably some fire too). As the music came on (brilliantly loud), and guests grabbed their seats as the make shift seating vibrated harder than a washing machine on spin, three fire shooting trucks with cages on their backs holding models came roaring in. A fourth truck carrying singer Chris Brown followed shortly after, as the models darted past the press area, their black-on-black clothing was highlighted only by the Swarovski that adorned it.
